CAM Board & Volunteer Training

This comprehensive program is designed to equip board members and volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively support grieving families through CAM's mission-driven services. The training is structured into four detailed modules:

  1. Understanding CAM’s Mission: Learn about CAM's core mission, vision, and values. Gain insights into the organization's history, objectives, and the critical role it plays in the community.

  2. Roles and Responsibilities: Discover the specific roles and responsibilities of board members and volunteers. Understand the expectations, duties, and ethical guidelines essential for effective service.

  3. Supporting Grieving Families: Develop skills to support grieving families with compassion and empathy. This module covers best practices, communication techniques, and resources to provide emotional and practical support.

  4. CAM Programs and Resources: Get acquainted with the various programs and resources CAM offers. Learn how to leverage these tools to maximize your impact and support the families you serve.

This training emphasizes three core Kingdom principles that demonstrate CAM's impact:

  1. Love and Compassion: Reflecting Jesus' command to love one another (John 13:34-35), this principle guides CAM’s approach to providing unconditional support to grieving families.

  2. Forgiveness and Healing: Rooted in Ephesians 4:32, CAM fosters environments where families can experience forgiveness and healing, emphasizing the transformative power of these acts.
